About me

I’m Laura and I started studying Music Industry Professional at the Herman Brood Academie in 2017. I started working with bands as a manager and bookings agent that summer and have been doing so fulltime since. I have worked with several bandsover the past couple of years and am still doing so, this is what I want to keep doing for the rest of my life!

A short recap of 2018:

Started the year organising my own showcase during Eurosonic Noorderslag. Saw Liam and Noel Gallagher live, as well as Harry Styles and DMA’s. Went to Brighton, had the best time during the business game in Mannheim, went to Hit the North where I officially fell in love with Newcastle and had a wonderful weekend at Neighbourhood Weekender. Got another tattoo, spent a lovely one and a half week with my parents in and around Huddersfield and picked up James Kennedy for three shows in the Netherlands at the end of July. Started working with the lovely boys of Ten Years Today / The Vices and quit working with Grenadeers. Ran off to Newcastle again in August to see the lovely lads of The Old Pink House and started the most amazing internship at [PIAS] in September. Went on a weekend getaway to Dublin to celebrate my parents’ anniversary, bless our team for being the best! And took my mom to Neighbourhood Festival in Manchester where we had thé best time. Through all this Popronde Nederland was happening, and their last party was a banging one. Ran off to Newcastle agáin in December and went on a two day trip to London with the office just a couple of days later. Christmas was full of food, joy and family as usual and these last days of the year are about working with my wonderful colleagues at Paradiso!
